This website was created by the children of Philips Bowerman Patton and Alma May Bracken, who are referred to here as the first generation because it is the generation we knew best and from which we sprung. ​

We call ourselves the children or second generation.  We call our children the grandchildren or third generation and our grandchildren the great-grandchildren or fourth generation. 

​There is also information about the parents, grandparents and great grandparents of Phil and Alma and the three generations that have grown up or are growing up since.​

The site is meant for our immediate family.  We are trying to capture here our family stories so that they will not be lost to our descendants.  If you have stumbled upon our pages by chance, we welcome you.
