Quinn William Houben-Wilson
Born January 27, 2009, Paris, France
Portrait written by Nancy Wilson (grandmother)
Quinn was an expressive baby. He let you know if he was happy or if he was not. He was strong and active. By the time he was three or four, he had mastered three languages. His father spoke to him in Flemish, his mother in English and his daycare giver in French. He began school when he was five, going to a bilingual school in Paris. He was a very happy child. As I write this, he is about to enter middle school. He loves history, plays the piano quite well, is studying fencing and loves to read, to build things and to discuss the world around him. He is everyone’s friend.
